"Corvettes For Kids" - Road Tour 2008

Mission Statement:

Corvette owners joining together to raise money for children's charities or specific situations to aid children in need. It is our hope that through the combined efforts of Corvette owners, we can bring a smile to a child's face and make their lives more enjoyable.

The "Corvettes For Kids" Road Tour (CFKRT) is an annual event. 2008 will be the 10th year for the CFKRT and thus far we have raised over $228,000 for childrens charities. We invite Corvette owners to come together and enjoy a beautiful drive throughout country roads surrounding the Toronto area.

We are planning a special cruise for our 10th Anniversary. Approximately 150 km in length, participants drive for a total of approximately 4 hours, with a lunch stop at the halfway point. All roads are paved and great care is taken for traffic control to ensure a safe and enjoyable drive.

Participants are encouraged to collect pledges as well as pay a nominal registration fee. Proceeds are given to a children's charity, selected prior to the event.
